I saw two pairs of Canada geese with their fuzzy offspring yesterday. One pair had three goslings and was on Thomas Island on Onota Lake. The other pair had only one baby and I wondered if a predator had grabbed part of their brood.  Below the sole survivor, if that’s the case, falls in line with its parents. Below that is a shot of the three goslings plus mom and dad on Thomas Island.
